How can curators bridge the gap and become voices for equity?

Rewilding the Artist was invited to create an interactive lecture for students studying for an MA in Culture, Criticism and Curation at University of the Arts London, Central St. Martins. The aim was to enable new curators to understand accessibility with the aim to building it into their practice at the beginning of their professional career and to become voices for equity.

If the new generation of arts professionals are already equipped to consider accessibility from a social model of disability and identify possible barriers it will be a catalyst for change. The session was well attended with students from across the globe who all had a different cultural vision of accessibility.

We would like to thank Programme Co-Director Dr. Alison Green for the invite.
